Since this ministry was founded as Family Bible Church on February 1, 1997, it has never received sufficient contributions to meet its expenses. Since it has always operated “in the red” my wife and I have always made up the short-fall from our personal finances, and have never seen the need to produce a financial statement (since there were no “net earnings” to report). I retired from  my income-producing secular employment in June 2008, and the plan was for my wife, Tikvah, to also retire in June 2012. However, she was called Home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2008, and I am now retired living on my Social Security “pension.” The loss of our combined incomes makes it now difficult (though not impossible) for me to continue to meet the monthly expenses of the ministry. This is certainly not meant as a complaint in any way. However, if HaShem’s people are not informed of a need, they will not know to respond. This is the first time in almost 45 years of ministry that I have ever felt the need to actively solicit funds to support my portion of HaShem’s ministry.
