Rishon [1st]
6:8The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 6:9"Command Aharon and his sons,
saying, 'This is the law of the burnt offering: the burnt offering shall be on the hearth on
the altar all night until the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on
it. 6:10The kohen [priest] shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put on his linen
breeches upon his body; and he shall remove the ashes from where the fire has consumed the
burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
6:11He shall take off
his garments, and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean
place. 6:12The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, it shall not go out; and the
kohen shall burn wood on it every morning: and he shall lay the burnt offering in order upon
it, and shall burn on it the fat of the shalom offerings.
6:13Fire shall be kept
burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.
6:14"'This is the law of the meal offering: the sons of Aharon shall offer it before
the LORD, before the altar. 6:15He shall take from there his handful of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of
its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the meal offering, and shall burn it on the
altar for a sweet savor, as its memorial, to the LORD.
6:16That which is left
of it Aharon and his sons shall eat. It shall be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They
shall eat it in the court of the Tent of Meeting 6:17It shall not be baked with yeast. I
have given it as their portion of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, as the sin
offering, and as the trespass offering. 6:18Every male among the children of
Aharon shall eat of it, as their portion forever throughout your generations, from the
offerings of the LORD made by fire. Whoever touches them shall be holy.'"

Sheni [2nd]
6:19The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 6:20"This is the offering of Aharon and
of his sons, which they shall offer to the LORD in the day when he is anointed: the tenth
part of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering perpetually, half of it in the morning,
and half of it in the evening.
6:21It shall be made with oil in a baking pan. When it is
soaked, you shall bring it in. You shall offer the meal offering in baked pieces for a sweet
savor to the LORD. 6:22The anointed kohen that will be in his place from among his sons shall offer it. By
a statute forever, it shall be wholly burnt to the LORD.
6:23Every meal offering
of a kohen shall be wholly burned. It shall not be eaten."
6:24The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 6:25"Speak to Aharon and to his sons,
saying, 'This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is
killed, the sin offering shall be killed before the LORD. It is most holy.
6:26The
kohen who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of
the Tent of Meeting. 6:27Whatever shall touch its flesh shall be holy. When there is any of its blood
sprinkled on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was sprinkled in a holy place.
6:28But the earthen vessel in which it is boiled shall be broken; and if it is boiled
in a brazen vessel, it shall be scoured, and rinsed in water.
6:29Every male among
the kohanim [priests] shall eat of it: it is most holy.
6:30No sin offering, of
which any of the blood is brought into the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the Holy
Place, shall be eaten: it shall be burned with fire.
7:1"'This
is the law of the trespass offering. It is most holy. 7:2In the place where they kill the
burnt offering, he shall kill the trespass offering; and its blood he shall sprinkle on the
altar round about. 7:3He shall offer all of its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the innards,
7:4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the
cover on the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away;
7:5and the kohen shall
burn them on the altar for an offering made by fire to the LORD: it is a trespass offering.
7:6Every male among the kohanim may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It
is most holy.
7:7"'As
is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one law for them. The kohen who
makes atonement with them shall have it. 7:8The kohen who offers any man's burnt
offering, even the kohen shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has
offered. 7:9Every meal offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the
frying pan, and on the baking pan, shall be the kohen's who offers it.
7:10Every
meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aharon, one as well as
another.

Shlishi [3rd]
7:11"'This is the law of the sacrifice of shalom offerings, which one shall offer to
the LORD. 7:12If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of
thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and
cakes mixed with oil. 7:13With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his
shalom offerings for thanksgiving.
7:14Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a
heave offering to the LORD. It shall be the kohen's who sprinkles the blood of the shalom
offerings. 7:15The flesh of the sacrifice of his shalom offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten
on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.
7:16"'But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it shall
be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it
shall be eaten: 7:17but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned
with fire. 7:18If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his shalom offerings is eaten on the third
day, it will not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed to him who offers it. It will be
an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity.
7:19"'The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned
with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it;
7:20but the soul who
eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of shalom offerings, that belongs to the LORD, having his
uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from his people.
7:21When anyone touches
any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination,
and eats some of the flesh of the sacrifice of shalom offerings, which belong to the LORD,
that soul shall be cut off from his people.'"
7:22The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 7:23"Speak to the children of Yisra'el,
saying, 'You shall eat no fat, of ox, or sheep, or goat.
7:24The fat of that
which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any
other service, but you shall in no way eat of it. 7:25For whoever eats the fat of the
animal, of which men offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, even the soul who eats it
shall be cut off from his people.
7:26You shall not eat any blood, whether it is of bird
or of animal, in any of your dwellings. 7:27Whoever it is who eats any blood,
that soul shall be cut off from his people.'"
7:28The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 7:29"Speak to the children of Yisra'el,
saying, 'He who offers the sacrifice of his shalom offerings to the LORD shall bring his
offering to the LORD out of the sacrifice of his shalom offerings.
7:30With his own hands
he shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the
breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
7:31The
kohen shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aharon's and his sons'.
7:32The right thigh you shall give to the kohen for a heave offering out of the
sacrifices of your shalom offerings.
7:33He among the sons of Aharon who offers the blood of
the shalom offerings, and the fat, shall have the right thigh for a portion.
7:34For
the waved breast and the heaved thigh I have taken from the children of Yisra'el out of the
sacrifices of their shalom offerings, and have given them to Aharon the kohen and to his
sons as their portion forever from the children of Yisra'el.'"
7:35This is the anointing portion of Aharon, and the anointing portion of his sons, out
of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister to
the LORD in the kohen's office;
7:36which the LORD commanded to be given them of the
children of Yisra'el, in the day that he anointed them. It is their portion forever
throughout their generations.
7:37This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meal
offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecration,
and of the sacrifice of shalom offerings; 7:38which the LORD commanded Moshe in
Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Yisra'el to offer their offerings
to the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.

R'vi'i [4th]
8:1The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 8:2"Take Aharon and his sons with him,
and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams,
and the basket of matzah [unleavened bread]; 8:3and assemble all the congregation at
the door of the Tent of Meeting."
8:4Moshe did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door
of the Tent of Meeting. 8:5Moshe said to the congregation, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to
be done." 8:6Moshe brought Aharon and his sons, and washed them with water.
8:7He
put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the efod on him,
and he tied the skillfully woven band of the efod on him, and fastened it to him with it.
8:8He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the
Tummim. 8:9He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden
plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moshe. 8:10Moshe took the anointing oil, and
anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.
8:11He sprinkled it on
the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its
base, to sanctify them. 8:12He poured some of the anointing oil on Aharon's head, and anointed him, to sanctify
him. 8:13Moshe brought Aharon's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them,
and put headbands on them; as the LORD commanded Moshe.

Chamishi [5th]
8:14He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aharon and his sons laid their hands
on the head of the bull of the sin offering. 8:15He killed it; and Moshe took the
blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the
altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make
atonement for it. 8:16He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the
two kidneys, and their fat; and Moshe burned it on the altar.
8:17But the bull, and
its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as the LORD
commanded Moshe. 8:18He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aharon and his sons laid their
hands on the head of the ram.
8:19He killed it; and Moshe sprinkled the blood on the altar
round about. 8:20He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moshe burned the head, and the pieces, and the
fat. 8:21He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moshe burned the whole ram on
the altar. It was a burnt offering for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to the
LORD; as the LORD commanded Moshe.

8:22He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aharon and his sons laid
their hands on the head of the ram.

put it on the tip of Aharon's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the
great toe of his right foot.
8:24He brought Aharon's sons; and Moshe put some of the
blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great

8:25He
took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of
the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh;
8:26and out of the
basket of matzah, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of
oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh.
8:27He
put all these in Aharon's hands and in his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering
before the LORD. 8:28Moshe took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt
offering. They were a consecration for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to the
LORD. 8:29Moshe took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD. It was
Moshe#s portion of the ram of consecration, as the LORD commanded Moshe.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah)
7:21-8:3; 9:23-24(22-23$¹nt)
7:21Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the G-d of Yisra'el: Add your burnt
offerings to your sacrifices, and eat you flesh. 7:22For I didn't speak to your fathers,
nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt
offerings or sacrifices: 7:23but this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your
G-d, and you shall be my people; and walk you in all the way that I command
you, that it may be well with you.
7:24But they didn't listen nor turn their ear, but
walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and
went backward, and not forward.
7:25Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the
land of Egypt to this day, I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up
early and sending them: 7:26yet they didn't listen to me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff:
they did worse than their fathers.
7:27You shall speak all these words to them; but they
will not listen to you: you shall also call to them; but they will not answer you.
7:28You
shall tell them, This is the nation that has not listened to the voice of the LORD their
G-d, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their
mouth. 7:29Cut off your hair, Yerushalayim, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation
on the bare heights; for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
7:30For the children of Yehudah have done that which is evil in my sight, says the
LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile
it. 7:31They have built the high places of Tofet, which is in the valley of the son of
Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I didn't command, neither
came it into my mind. 7:32Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be called
Tofet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury
in Tofet, until there be no place to bury. 7:33The dead bodies of this people
shall be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth; and none shall
frighten them away. 7:34Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Yehudah, and from the streets of
Yerushalayim, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and
the voice of the bride; for the land shall become a waste.
8:1At that time, says the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Yehudah,
and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the kohanim, and the bones of the prophets,
and the bones of the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, out of their graves;
8:2and
they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of the sky, which they
have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they
have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they
shall be for dung on the surface of the earth. 8:3Death shall be chosen rather than
life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where
I have driven them, says the LORD of Hosts.
9:23Thus says the LORD, Don't let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the
mighty man glory in his might, don't let the rich man glory in his riches;
9:24but
let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am the
LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these
things I delight, says the LORD.

Blessed are You, O Lord,

Messianic Jews [Hebrews] 9:11-28
9:11But Messiah having come as a kohen gadol [high priest] of the coming good things,
through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of
this creation, 9:12nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered
in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.
9:13For
if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been
defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: 9:14how much more will the blood of
Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to G-d,
cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living G-d?
9:15For
this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the
redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have
been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
9:16For where a last
will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.
9:17For
a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it
lives. 9:18Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
9:19For
when every mitzvah [commandment] had been spoken by Moshe to all the people according to the
law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop,
and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
9:20saying, "This is
the blood of the covenant which G-d has commanded you."
9:21Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in like
manner with the blood. 9:22According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from
shedding of blood there is no remission. 9:23It was necessary therefore that the
copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things
themselves with better sacrifices than these. 9:24For Messiah hasn't entered into
holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself,
now to appear in the presence of G-d for us;
9:25nor yet that he
should offer himself often, as the kohen gadol enters into the holy place year by year with
blood not his own, 9:26or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once
at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
9:27Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
9:28so
Messiah also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time,
without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.
Additional B'rit Chadasha reading:
Marcos 12:28-34
12:28One of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together. Knowing that he had
answered them well, asked him, "Which mitzvah [commandment] is the greatest of all?"
12:29Yeshua answered, "The greatest is, 'Hear, Yisra'el, the Lord our G-d,
the Lord is one: 12:30you shall love the Lord your G-d with all your heart, and with all
your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first mitzvah.
12:31The second
is like this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other mitzvah greater
than these."
12:32The scribe said to him, "Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and
there is none other but he,
12:33and to love him with all the heart, and with all the
understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as
himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
12:34When Yeshua saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the
Kingdom of G-d."
Romans 12:1-2
12:1Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of G-d, to present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to G-d, which is your spiritual
service. 12:2Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of G-d.
1 Corinthians 10:14-23
10:14Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 10:15I speak as to wise men. Judge what
I say. 10:16The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a communion of the blood of Messiah?
The bread which we break, isn't it a communion of the body of Messiah?
10:17Because
we, who are many, are one bread, one body; for we all partake of the one bread.
10:18Consider
Yisra'el after the flesh. Don't those who eat the sacrifices have communion with the altar?
10:19What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an
idol is anything? 10:20But I say that the things which the Goyim sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and
not to G-d, and I don't desire that you would have communion with demons.
10:21You can't both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can't both
partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons.
10:22Or do we provoke
the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? 10:23"All things are lawful for me,"
but not all things are profitable. "All things are lawful for me," but not all things build
up.
