Dakhmas: The towers of silence where the
Zoroastrians dispose of their dead by leaving the bodies partially uncovered to be eaten
by vultures. This practice keeps the soil and water from being contaminated with dead
flesh.
Fire Temple: The place where fire
worship is carried on. An important practice in present-day Zoroastrianism.
Gabras: The name given Zoroastrians by Muslims. The term denotes an infidel.
Vivedat (Venidad): A portion of the Avesta containing magic spells and
prescriptions for purification.
Vohu Manah: The archangel also known as
good thought.
Yasna: The most important portion of the Avesta, Zoroastrianism's sacred
scripture.
Zend-Avesta: A third century A.D.
commentary on the Zoroastrian scriptures (Avesta) is known as the Zend. The
combining of the two is called the Zend-Avesta.

Pardon Our Dust
while we remodel our site
to make it more “User-friendly”
Please note: When we are
finished with our current “remodeling” project we will be
creating “printer-friendly”
pages for all of our articles and sheorim (lessons). Thank you
for your continued patience and support.
The pages on this website
contain the Name of G-d in various forms. If
you

with proper respect.
An ever-changing Messianic
Jewish website till Adonai Yeshua HaMashiach returns in
glory!!!
PLEASE
NOTE: Due to a significant lack of interest in the
Messianic Message in our
geographical area, Adat B'nei HaMelech has been forced
(for the present) to cease functioning as an active
congregation with regularly-scheduled services. We will,
however, continue present the message of Messiah by all
possible means and to operate this website as an on-line
ministry for as long as the LORD leads us to do so. As the
LORD leads you, your continuing prayers and financial
support to offset the on-going web-hosting and other
operating costs will be sincerely appreciated. — Ari

07/21/08: This weekend we
migrated both of our sites to a new server, more than tripling our storage
and bandwidth allocation. This resulted in a number of pages losing their
formats. We will get them reformatted as quickly as possible, but since
there are nearly 3000 pages on our two sites combined, it will take a
little while to complete the process. We apologize for the inconvenience
and thank you for your patience.
